Development of Deep Neural Solver for PISA Math Problems
Absztrakt: 

Automatic solving of natural language math problems employing computers and intelligent software is an active field of research of a particular interest to scientists involved with Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. Despite the abundant amount of research in this field, and the recent progress in developing AI systems capable of solving high-school and university-level tests, at the time being there is no record of any research aimed to develop a machine-based system to solve mathematics questions from the PISA test.

In this seminar the specifics and the challenges of developing an automatic solver for PISA math questions shall be presented, along with the work in progress - a PISA math solver system based on deep neural network.
